DJ Scott Andreasen (aka DJ Scott A. formerly of Fresh Baked Records) now produces and DJs top club songs for 1stBay Music Group. Hailing from Tampa, a city known worldwide for its Florida break beat style, Scott likes producing and DJ-ing all types of music. He is an open-format club DJ well versed in cuttin', scratchin', breakin' and mixin'. For a high energy performance you should book this DJ. He has worked with the likes of: Huda Hudia, Agent K & Deuce, DJ Mondo of Santoro’s Amphitheater, DJ Jaime Ferreira, DJ Whatt, Mark Sanchez and Devine & emilyPLAY.
While he got his start in Florida breaks, Scott has evolved into a diverse music producer releasing tech-house, nuskool breaks and different types of experimental electronic music. He got started in DJing shortly after graduating high school in 1996. Since then he hasn't skipped a beat and was hooked from that moment on. He saved up money from his telemarketing job selling vacation packages, bought his first set up Technics 1200s turntables and a Gemini mixer. Scott went on to play after hours house parties immersing himself in the music. Shortly after he was able to get a residency at a well-known nightclub in Clearwater, FL called Club Majestik and played a weekend mix show at a public Clearwater AM Radio Station.
Since then, DJ Scott Andreasen has moved on through the years playing the biggest clubs in Tampa Bay, such as the infamous Turtle Club which incidentally received national noteriety after being raided for a huge ecstasy bust back in 2000,receiving national news attention and shutting the club down.
Scott moved into producing music and teamed up with DJ Whatt, they released several tracks on vinyl through Whatt Castle Records (“Turn it up”) and white label bootlegs on Breaks R Us "Dress U Up" and "Rain.The white label bootlegs were a success and completely sold out of vinyl shops everywhere.
In 2004, Scott started a vinyl record label called Fresh Baked Records. The Florida label ran until 2007. One of the vinyl records sold well “Girl Get Up” which contained remixes by the legendary Huda Hudia and Agent K & Deuce. A release of that vinyl got into the hands of DJ Mondo at Santoro’s Amphitheater, earning Scott a headliner spot at Tampa Bay's most elite night club. There he played alongside DJ Mondo and Clear Channel’s radio DJ Jaime Ferreira of 933FLZ.
